Welcome to Southern Trail Riders Fellowship

Riding and conserving the green roads of Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex and beyond.

about us

Enjoy the ride

Covering all of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Southern TRF is an active and social group. It was one of the original TRF groups created when the TRF was formed and one of the oldest and long standing groups in the Trail Riders Fellowship. Southern TRF acts as a hub for local trail riders to meet, come together and enjoy all aspects of trail riding. With over 200 members, our aim to engage with motorcycle trail riders within our region, to use all green roads in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Building relationships

Working together

A critical part of what we do is to build relationships with other user groups such as ramblers and horse riders as well as local communities.

We offer support to local councils, working with them to develop inclusive access as well as helping them repair and maintain lanes. If you are a local council and or user group and would like to discuss working with us, please contact trfsouthern.group@gmail.com

The group holds monthly meetings within the fantastic venue, which is the HQ of the Southampton and District Motorcycle Club, Cranbury Centre, Cranbury Road, Eastleigh. The venue is fully air conditioned and has great facilities, such as a huge meeting room, Large HD TV for presentations, club price Bar and ample parking for members. Monthly Meetings vary and can be just social gatherings or more structured formal meetings, where all matters relating to Trail riding can be discussed. Activities from tyre changing demonstration, to map marking, and advice on tools, navigation devices and much more play a regular part of meetings. Members can share their reports of recent rides and trips further afield, showcasing their pictures on the big screen TV for all to see. For more details contact us at trfsouthern.group@gmail.com or visit trail.trf.org.uk and click “join”.

Southern TRF has an active members-only Facebook page which is where details of regular rides and events are posted, along with chat, banter, advice and questions & answers from members. Once you have joined the TRF you will be able to apply to join the Facebook page.
